The wine "opens with a musty Old World bouquet with a hint of blueberry in the background. It is full-bodied, well balanced, and very smooth with spicy black raspberry flavors with hints of oak and black pepper. Its moderate tannins made it a crowd pleaser and is very food-friendly. It was a perfect match for our Arctic Char."
